CAMPER REQUIREMENTS

  • CAMPERS NEED TO BRING:
    •  LUNCH-Should require NO HEATING. A cooler will be available for lunch bags or drinks  that need to stay cool.
    • SNACK- Preferably something that is easy to manage and mess free, we may play card games during snack.
    • DRINK- We can keep these cold in the cooler if campers need.
    • WATER BOTTLE- Campers will have lots of opportunity to drink water and are welcome to carry their water with them during camp if they want or need to. 
    • CLOSED TOE SHOES- Crocs, sandals or flip flops will not be allowed
  • CAMPER ABILITIES:
    • Able to perform their own personal care. Counselors will be available to provide verbal prompts for toileting. 
    • If a camper requires medication while at camp, counselors will be available to provide verbal prompts and supervision. 
    • Since there are cats and dogs on the farm, campers should not have severe cat and/or dogs allergies.
    • Campers should be able to ambulate on uneven surfaces and stairs (gravel, grass, dirt, 2-3 stairs).
    • Campers should wear closed toe comfortable shoes suitable for walking outdoors. No crocs, sandals or flip flops.
  •  CAMPER PLAN OF CARE AT APPLICATION:
    • First aid and emergency consent,
    • seizure/seizure protocol,
    • food allergies,
    • info about medications while at camp,
    • info about how much assistance they’ll need with meal time and toileting (Counselors will  only able to provide verbal prompts and supervision).
